- Prepare the pie crust by placing it in a 9-inch pie dish and pressing it gently against the sides and bottom.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine light corn syrup, packed brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Stir in the pecan halves until evenly distributed, then pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 60-70 minutes until filling is set and top is golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours.
