Ingredients
  

Salmon Fillets
  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the lemon herb mixture generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake the salmon for about 12-15 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
