Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts 2 large breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 2 green onions sliced for garnish
  • sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl. Place chicken in a resealable bag or dish, pour marinade over, seal, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  3. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade. Grill chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
