Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large skillet, over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until fully browned, about 7-10 minutes. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, stirring until onions are translucent. Drain excess grease.
Prepare any additional vegetables if desired.
Combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper with the cooked meat and onions. Mix well.
Spread the beef mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Layer the tater tots on top of the beef mixture in a single layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
