Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling and gently spread it.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the cream cheese layer and drizzle melted butter over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
Allow the cake to cool for about 10-15 minutes before serving.
