Ingredients
  

Cauliflower
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Wash the cauliflower thoroughly, remove leaves, and cut into bite-sized florets. Set aside to dry.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water while whisking until smooth.
  3. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, then roll in panko breadcrumbs. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Preheat oven to 425°F. Bake cauliflower for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. In a saucepan, combine honey, sriracha, soy sauce, olive oil, and rice vinegar. Heat over medium until well combined.
  6. Remove cauliflower from oven, drizzle with spicy honey sauce, and toss gently. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
