  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Binds the ingredients together.

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds aroma and flavor.
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows Essential for gooey texture.
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Melts beautifully.

Method
 

  1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, melted butter, salt, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until crumbly. Press half into the bottom of a greased 8x8-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool slightly. Sprinkle mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and nuts over the crust.
  3. Crumble the remaining crumb mixture over the top of the filling. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until marshmallows are golden brown.
  4. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
