Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown evenly for 6 to 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add diced onion and cook for about 5 minutes until translucent. Then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and stir well. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, then gradually pour in beef broth while stirring to prevent lumps.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
