Naan Pizza Delight

Quick and easy individual pizzas made on naan bread, topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, and black olives, baked until bubbly and golden.

Ingredients
  

  • Large naan bread: 2 pieces
  • Marinara sauce: 1 cup
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: 1 1/2 cups
  • Sliced pepperoni: 1/2 cup
  • Sliced bell peppers any color: 1/2 cup
  • Sliced black olives: 1/4 cup
  • Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: To taste
  • Fresh basil leaves: For garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the naan bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce evenly over each naan.
  4. Sprinkle 3/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on each naan.
  5. Top with sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, and black olives.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  7. Season with dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  10. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Healthier Option: Use whole wheat naan and add more vegetables like spinach or mushrooms.
Flavor Twist: Experiment with different sauces, such as pesto or barbecue sauce, for a unique flavor.
Crispier Crust: For a crispier crust, bake the naan bread alone for 3-5 minutes before adding the toppings.
Make Ahead: Assemble the pizzas and refrigerate them for up to 1 hour before baking.
