  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional) Adds crunch and flavor.

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
  6. Fold in chopped walnuts or pecans if using.
  7. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
