Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the honey garlic sauce by reserving some marinade in a separate bowl.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Add reserved marinade to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
