- Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. Whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, prepare the honey garlic sauce by reserving some marinade in a separate bowl.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Add reserved marinade to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
