Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Marinate the chicken with salt and pepper, then pour half of the honey garlic sauce over it and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the honey garlic sauce by whisking together the remaining honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and ground ginger.
  3. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet with vegetable oil for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Add the honey garlic sauce to the skillet, mix cornstarch with water, stir into the sauce, and cook until thickened. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
