Salmon Fillets
  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets Fresh or thawed
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adds sweetness
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter Melted
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Adds depth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • salt and pepper To taste
  • chopped fresh parsley Optional, for garnish
  • lemon wedges Optional, for serving

Method
 

  1. Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Place them in a baking dish lined with parchment paper, skin side down. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine honey, melted butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Whisk until well combined.
  3. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the salmon for about 15-20 minutes until it flakes easily with a fork.
  4. After 15 minutes, glaze the salmon with the honey garlic butter sauce. Optionally, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a caramelized top.
  5. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
