- Prepare the corn and green beans by shucking the corn and cutting the green beans into 1-inch pieces. Boil the green beans in salted water for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to ice water to stop cooking.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in thyme and parsley.
- Cook corn in the same pot for 3-5 minutes if fresh, or heat through if frozen. Drain and set aside with green beans.
- Combine corn and green beans in the skillet with herb butter, season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
