Method
 

  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  4. Boil cubed sweet potatoes in water for 15 minutes until tender. Drain and mash with heavy cream, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. In a saucepan, combine maple syrup and olive oil. Heat over medium for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Drizzle sticky maple sauce over cooked meatballs and serve with creamy sweet potato mash.
