Ingredients
  

Fruit Mixture
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup gluten-free rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the fruit mixture by peeling, coring, and slicing the apples, and hulling and halving the strawberries. Combine in a bowl with lemon juice, 1/4 cup sugar, and cinnamon.
  2. Make the crumble topping by mixing oats, almond flour, melted butter, remaining sugar, and salt in a separate bowl until crumbly.
  3. Assemble the crumble by pouring the fruit mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish and topping it with the crumble mixture.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
