Ingredients

Fresh Strawberries
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup granola (optional, for topping)

Equipment

  • blender
  • muffin tin

Method

  1. Gather all your ingredients including fresh strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and optional granola.
  2. Wash the strawberries thoroughly, hull them, and cut each strawberry in half.
  3. In a blender, add the halved strawberries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. If using granola, mix it into the yogurt blend or save it for topping later. Pour the mixture into a muffin tin lined with paper liners or silicone molds, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
  5. Place the muffin tin in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 240 minutes, or until completely solid.
  6. Once frozen, remove the yogurt bites from the muffin tin and serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.
