Ingredients
  

Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts Cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs preferably panko
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • cooking spray or olive oil for drizzling

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the chicken breasts into strips, about 1 to 1.5 inches wide.
  2. Set up your breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour mixed with seasonings, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  3. Coat each chicken strip in the flour mixture, then dip in the eggs, and finally roll in the breadcrumbs. Place on a baking sheet.
  4. Lightly spray or drizzle the coated chicken tenders with cooking spray or olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
