Ingredients

Dough Ingredients
  • 2.5 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour This is the base of your dough, providing structure while keeping it gluten-free.
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder This helps the dough rise, making it light and fluffy.
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt A pinch of salt enhances the overall flavor of the bread.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon This adds that warm, spicy flavor that pairs perfectly with sugar.
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar This sweetens the dough and complements the cinnamon.
  • 1 cup whole milk Milk adds moisture and richness to the dough.
  • 2 large eggs Eggs help bind the ingredients together and add richness.
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter, melted This adds flavor and moisture to the dough.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Vanilla enhances the sweetness and adds depth to the flavor.
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed Brown sugar gives a rich, caramel-like flavor to the coating.
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted (for coating) This helps the sugar mixture stick to the dough balls.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating) Extra cinnamon for that delicious coating.
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar (for coating) This adds sweetness and a lovely crunch to the outside.

Equipment

  • bundt pan

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and granulated sugar. In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, and granulated sugar for the coating.
  4. Pinch off small pieces of dough, roll into balls, dip in melted butter, and then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Layer the coated dough balls in the prepared bundt pan.
  5. Pour any remaining melted butter and sprinkle leftover sugar mixture on top. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a serving plate and serve warm.
