Ingredients

Ground Beef Mixture
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (13.8-ounce)
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Baking Sheet
  • Parchment Paper

Method

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for another 2 minutes.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 12x16 inches on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the beef and cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Roll the dough tightly and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Place the log seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the top with olive oil.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
