Eggs
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 4 cups cubed bread (preferably day-old)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Gather and prepare all your ingredients, chopping vegetables and dicing the ham.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Add the diced ham, shredded cheddar cheese, bell peppers, onion, and cubed bread to the egg mixture and gently stir until evenly coated. Pour into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden. Let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
