Ingredients
  

Banana
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare your muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing it with butter or cooking spray.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Combine the wet ingredients: mashed bananas, melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  8. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
