Ingredients
  

Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small pieces
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate the triangles.
  3. Cut the Brie cheese into small pieces, about one inch in size.
  4. Take one triangle of dough, place a piece of Brie cheese in the center, fold the corners over the cheese, and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Spoon about a teaspoon of the cooled cranberry mixture on top of the Brie and sprinkle with pecans if using.
  6. Place the assembled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with the beaten egg, and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let them cool slightly before serving.
